Groundsman is a brand built on premium heritage style – but it’s their sustainable qualities that truly make them stand out from the competition.
Focusing on a concise yet comprehensive collection of brushes, brooms, bin liners and doormats, Groundsman are continuously developing their ranges to provide products for the consumer that meet sustainable standards. Their hardwearing products aren’t just eco-friendly, they also deliver high-quality performance at competitive prices, ensuring products are accessible to your customers.
Simon Wright, Purchasing Director, said: “Sustainable credentials are now more important than ever for consumers. Purchasing sustainably produced products and recycling are ways everyone can do their bit to help the environment.
“We are continuously developing Groundsman ranges to provide products that meet sustainable standards, helping you and your customers make the right choices without compromising on performance or design.”
Although Groundsman are a brand who pride themselves on traditional heritage style, they are continuing to future-proof the way in which they manufacture their products. Groundsman have just launched a new range of bamboo products, including clothes pegs and broom handles. Bamboo is a highly sustainable renewable alternative to wood. It’s been used by other cultures for thousands of years due to being strong and sturdy, as well as eco-friendly.
Their bin liners, rubble sacks and garden bags are also kind to the planet. Not only are they produced in the UK to reduce the emissions of importing, but their bags and liners are also made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable to continue the chain of sustainability.
As well as Groundsman progressing their sustainability efforts with new materials, the brand has also progressed efforts to minimise the carbon footprint of their product packaging.
Groundsman sustainable product highlights:
• Waste bin liners are biodegradable to help homeowners with composting – they also have a lower carbon footprint in terms of shipping.
• Doormats are made using recycled car tyres, recycled plastic bottles and sustainable materials like coconut coir.
• Wooden products, such as broom handles, are made using FSC certified products, ensuring the use of environmentally-appropriate forest management practices.
