How do I apply for an account with Stax?

Please check whether you are eligible for membership by checking our admission policy.

To apply for an account, you can either fill in an application form in your local branch, or use our online application form.

You will need to complete your application in branch by showing a few documents. When visiting the branch you should bring with you:

• One invoice from a supplier, made out in the company name, showing you currently buy the products Stax sell for your business

• One recent utility bill for your business address

How can I change my details?

In order to log in you must be an existing Stax customer. Simply fill in the registration form and your login details will be sent to your email address.

If you are not an existing customer, you will not be able to log into the website, it is reserved for our customers only. If you would like to become a registered customer, please check our admission policy and how to apply.

How do I log into my account?

In order to log in you must be an existing Stax customer. Simply fill in the registration form and your login details will be sent to your email address.

If you are not an existing customer, you will not be able to log into the website, it is reserved for our customers only. If you would like to become a registered customer, please check our admission policy.

When I try to log in to my online account, it says my details don’t match.

Please make sure the details you are entering are the same details your branch has on their system for your account. If you would like to compare your details, just give your branch a quick call and speak to the receptionist.

Please note that if your branch has to amend any details, it might take a few days for our systems to recognise the update, therefore please wait 2 days before requesting your login details again.

Can I have a product data feed for all Stax products to power my website, eBay or Amazon shop?

Yes, Stax Trade Centres provides data feeds in two formats, XML and CSV.

At this time, two feeds are available:

  • Product contains products from the Stax range, including brand name, descriptions, prices, pack sizes, etc
  • Stock Position contains the current stock positions at your local branch

PRICES & ORDERING

Can I order online?

Once you are logged into your online account, you can create a shopping list for you to print and take with you when you come into branch. This is not an order form. To enquire whether online ordering is available to you, please speak to your branch manager.

How can I check current prices?

If you are an existing customer, you can see your prices after logging into the website. If you are an existing customer and don't have a login yet, you can register for an online account here.

Do prices quoted include VAT?

All prices quoted exclude VAT.

Why can’t I see product prices?

You need to be logged into your online account to see your prices.

RETURNS POLICY

How do I return faulty products?

Please refer to our Returns Policy for detailed information on returning faulty products.

Can I exchange products I no longer need?

If you are returning a product that is not faulty, Stax reserve the right to charge a 15% handling fee.

Stax stock over 40,000 products including Tools & Hardware, Building & Joinery, DIY, Electrical & Lighting, Plumbing & Heating, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Housewares, Tools, Decorating, Seasonal, Outdoor, Gardening and more.

Can I check if an item is in stock?

Yes, if you are an existing customer, you can see the stock availability after logging into your account.

Please note that stock positions are approximate & change regularly. This offers no guarantee of actual availability so please check with the branch before travelling.

Can I reserve items from the website to collect in store?

It is possible to reserve certain products, however, this is subject to availability. Your section manager will be able to tell you if certain items can be reserved. These are listed on our branches page (please make sure to click on your local branch).

DELIVERY INFORMATION

Will Stax deliver to me?

Stax is usually cash and carry only, but we do offer a delivered wholesale service depending on a variety of criteria. Please speak to your branch manager to see whether a delivery service is available for you.
