During the 2017 Big Brands Show, we trialled an experimental online auction that allowed Stax members to bid on heavily reduced lots throughout the duration of the shows. This provided a great opportunity to grab bulk items for a fraction of what they would normally cost.
Well, the feature proved so popular that we are extending it throughout 2018 as a regular feature. At various times throughout the year, we’ll be adding new branded bundled lots with extra low reserves for customers to silently bid on online. Auctions will range between Stax’s massive 40,000 product lines, including gardening, homewares, DIY, tools and much more.
Customers will be notified by email when new lots are available to be bid on, as well as receiving updates on auctions they have bid on, such as whether they have been outbid or won the auction. The system is incredibly simple to use and customers will only need their email address and Stax account number to place bids.
As previously mentioned, the auction was an incredibly popular feature during the 2017 Big Brands Shows with a number of bids on exciting lots. We hope that customers will take advantage of the new feature and enjoy the low reserves and opportunities it brings!
Stay tuned for more information on the first auction, which should be available soon. Keep an eye on your emails or the Stax website to be one of the first to place a bid.
