Scotland’s leading delivered wholesaler, Wishart, has just launched a new state of the art website – giving their customers an advanced, reliable ordering platform and information source.
With both staff and customers alike finding the old site outdated and unreliable, Stax owned Wishart has invested heavily in new technology to improve the efficiency of their delivered wholesale operations.
Wishart MD George Gardener commented,
“Being a delivered wholesaler the recent investment in the business has manifested itself most noticeably to our customers in the form of the new Wishart website. We’re pleased with the outcome, but we’re also pleased to say that the website will undergo ongoing developments on a continual basis, further improving the service for our customers.”
Customers who visit the new website are reminded that in order to benefit from much of the functionality, they should firstly register for an online account by inputting their unique customer information.
Once logged in users will find an array of information at their fingertips including detailed price information, current stock levels, product specifics, all for the entire range of Wishart products. In addition, registered customers will also be able to place quick orders, shop by products that are discounted on promotion, view pricing reports, new or discontinued products and read relevant industry news. Customers who also opt in to Till2Till will be able to view invoices and download product feeds to autopopulate EPOS systems.
Stax Trade Centres plc Joint MD David Hibbert said,
“Since Stax purchased Wishart in 2011, there have been a number of improvements and investments in the business with the new website being the most recent addition. Behind the scenes we have also updated the delivery fleet and purchased new warehouse equipment to ensure added efficiency and reliability in delivering our customers’ orders. In addition, the Wishart reps are now armed with the latest technology to enable orders to be taken in the field, undertake stock checks and provide accurate quotes, just as the Stax reps have been doing for some time. All of these measures should mean Wishart customers will start to see an improved service across the board.”
Further plans are currently in place over the coming months to develop the functionality of both the Stax and Wishart websites as well as the retailer websites as part of the Retailer Web Programme.
Keep up to date with all the latest news from Stax.
