Updated July 2021

With the recent government announcements concerning the freeing up of Covid19 regulations and the opening up of the economy from Monday 19th July we have reviewed our policy on mask wearing, social distancing and protective screening within our branches, PDS and M P Smith.

Stax will be adhering to the government guidelines and recommendations, this will mean that: -

1. Customers in England will no longer have to wear a mask to enter our buildings, in Scotland the rules still apply.

2. In England Staff no longer have to wear a mask, although we recommend that you do wear a mask particularly if you are in close contact with other members of staff or customers. In Scotland staff will have to continue to wear a mask until the Scottish government change their regulations

3. Social distancing of at least 1 metre should be observed at all times.

4. All recently installed screens on the shop floor/reception and in offices will remain in place.

It is everyone’s personal responsibility to follow the government guidelines. Stax has consistently done so throughout the pandemic.

The Café’s in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds will be re-opening on the 1st August for staff and customers alike, further guidance for these areas will be provided nearer the time.

If you have any questions, please take these up with your management team.

Chairman
