Supa, the hugely successful independent retailers’ own brand, has launched a new range of hi-tech energy saving LED lamps under the SupaLite label.
Brand new to the range are 5 new LED lamps adopting the latest in LED technology and contemporary design. All the products have been awarded the A grade in energy efficiency, and being up to 90% more efficient than conventional bulbs, the new range is ideal for reducing energy bills and carbon footprint.
The LED Chip GLS bulbs, with screw and bayonet fittings are an effective replacement for the traditional GLS light bulb. The 5 Watt bulbs are suitable for 240v circuits and emit the same quality of light seen only in a conventional 30w bulb. Using the same technology, the LED candle lamps are suitable for an array of lights, with the 2 Watt lamps offering an effective replacement to the standard 20 Watt candle lamp.
Also new to the range are LED and SMD LED GU10 lamps, which are an ideal replacement for the standard GU10 halogen bulbs. Utilising surface mounted device technology the 3 Watt SMD variants provide a light comparable to that of a 25 Watt standard lamp and are available in both push and twist fittings.
Purchase Director Simon Wright commented,
“This new range is at the forefront of technological innovation, which is great news for consumers who are looking to reduce their energy bills. Retailers looking to stock these products can be confident of the guaranteed range quality, which is not only a top seller but also offers excellent margins.”
All the LED range not only offers greater efficiency, but are also far more durable and safer than traditional lamps. With a vastly increased product lifetime, the new range also contains no harmful materials, which means if a bulb does break, the clean up is a simple task.
The SupaLite range now encompasses well over 100 various types of lamps, bulbs, torches and lighting accessories, and the new range aims to bring more options to retailers looking to replace the phased out incandescent lamps with new consumer and environmentally friendly alternatives.
SupaLite products are available from all 5 Stax Trade Centres branches as well as DF Wishart and SAM’S Trade Centre.

Keep up to date with all the latest news from Stax.
