For retailers this seasonal shift presents an opportunity to meet customer demand and drive sales with a range of pest control solutions. Now is the time to stock up.

Rodents will instinctively search for indoor spaces to escape the cold and damp. Homes, garages and sheds and even commercial properties become attractive nesting sites.

Rentokil has been a household name since 1925 and is the world's largest pest control company, offering the broadest, most advanced range of pest control solutions and services in the industry. When rodent season hits, the right inventory is vital to help serve a wide range of customers needs and should include options for baiting and trapping, including both kill traps and live capture for release. This is often a distressed purchase for the user and having the correct solution available on shelf at the time of need is crucial.

Rodent Key Facts:

There are many factors responsible for the population growth of mice and rats such as a reduction in the frequency of household waste collections, an increase in street litter and warmer winters. In addition to this, wild bird feeding can attract rats to the surplus food, while compost heaps provide harbourage to rodents.

A simple programme of good housekeeping practices within the house, outbuildings and garden can help prevent an infestation.
