During the 2021 Spring Trade Show, Stax customers have the perfect opportunity to pick up great products at great prices. Included in this years’ offer are both the water based and solvent based trim paints within the Johnstone’s range, alongside the ever popular Leyland Trade Contract Matt and Super Leytex emulsion paints.

Johnstone’s Wood & Metal Paint

Perfect for wood and metal surfaces, the Johnstone’s trim range includes products and colours that encourage DIYers to create schemes that make a house a home. There are a broad array of colours across the range inspired by the latest trending interior and exterior styles. Many of these colours are also available in the Johnstone’s Wall & Ceiling paint collections, enabling DIYers to create coordinated and streamlined colour themes throughout their home and across multiple surfaces, including door frames and skirting boards, statement doors and feature staircases: an increasingly popular interior design trend within the decorative DIY market.

Both water based and solvent based products are included within the Wood & Metal range. The Quick Dry products use water based technology meaning products are typically touch dry in 1-2 hours, are low odour and non-yellowing. Johnstone’s Quick Dry Wood & Metal paints are perfect for those projects that need to be completed quickly. In contrast, the Hardwearing Wood & Metal range are solvent based products that offer a traditional approach to application and require longer drying times.

Leyland Trade Contract Matt & Super Leytex

For the General Tradesperson, having the right products to hand is important. Quite often newly plastered interior walls and ceilings need painting quickly to ensure project deadlines are met. Thankfully, the technology used in Leyland Trade Super Leytex provides a permeable film that allows new plaster surfaces to breathe and dry out.

In addition, its full bodied, high opacity matt finish formulation means it’s great for covering most bases and gives a strong level of colour when applied. Alternatively, for plastered walls and ceilings that have fully cured, Leyland Trade Contract Matt offers a matt finish with good covering power at 13sq.m per litre and is easy to apply.
