October’s return of Autumnwatch to BBC Two, saw bird related product sales spike across the UK

October’s return of Autumnwatch to BBC Two, saw bird related product sales spike across the UK, with bird food and accessories literally “flying” off the shelves.
Bird baths, feeders, nesting boxes and feeds were the biggest sellers with sales expected to continue well into winter following the popularity of the BBC programme.
Nick Brady, Stax Bird & Pet Care Range Negotiator commented,
“At Stax we stock a wide range of bird and pet care lines that have been hugely popular with our garden centre retailers, partly off the back of the popularity of Autumnwatch, but also general seasonality. In particular our new Honeyfields range of bird feeds has been a great seller along with Ambassador bird feeders, all of which are available now at Stax branches nationwide.”
