Clever tools make work twice as fun and much more efficient! There are a huge range of tools available to electricians, making it hard to know which ones you need and which would just sit in your toolbox and never be used.
We’ve put together a list of the tools that we think every electrician needs. Find out what these are and what makes them so useful below.
SupaLite LED Compact Torch (344045)
A sturdy and reliable flashlight is a tool that electrician’s shouldn’t be without. The SupaLite LED compact torch features a 50 lumen LED bulb which illuminates the working area exactly as required, with a metal casing and handy wrist strap making it easy to use. Perfect for working in poorly-lit areas and spotting any potential leaks.
Stabila Magnetic Spirit Level (617550)
One of the most common tasks for any electrician is marking sockets. With its light metal casing and powerful rare earth magnets, getting those measurements as accurate as possible is even easier!
Stanley Screwdriver Set (369637)
No one wants to spend time looking for the right screwdriver, so don’t! The Stanley Screwdriver set is a 58-piece bundle of all the screwdrivers, sockets and bits you could need. Featuring high-grade steel bars and chrome-plated shafts for increased resistance to wear and tear.
SupaTool Tool Box with Organiser Lid (343912)
Having to transport all of your tools around to construction sites is far from ideal. A proper tool case where you can effectively store all of your tools is an essential, helping to ensure you always know where your tools are when you need them. The SupaTool box caters to all of those needs in a sleek, sturdy design.
Draper Non-Contact Voltage Tester (348447)
It goes without saying that this device is an absolute must for all electricians and it can speed up the process massively when trying to identify any issues. The device can be used to identify live wires, broken wires and other faults, with a voltage detection range between 200v-600v.
Black & Decker 18V Drill (369045)
Another essential for all electricians, battery drills are used for drilling holes in wood, walls and other tough surfaces. The type of drill to use very much depends on the job at hand, however, we would always recommend ensuring you invest in a quality one that performs well. The Black & Decker 18V drill is the electrician’s perfect companion, featuring a battery which can last up to 90 days whilst idle.
