The release of the new iPhone 6 comes with new feature, Apple Pay, mirroring Google Wallets contact-less mobile payments.
While cash and credit cards are not likely to disappear yet, mobile payments are on the rise and will see an increasing portion of payments over the next year.
Larger retailers will be taking big steps forward in the availability of solutions such as PayPal, Google Wallet, Square Wallet, Dwolla, Apple Pay and more.
Pizza express as a prime example allows diners to book, order and even pay their bill with PayPal. This allows diners to settle their bill in a simple online transaction.
Over the coming years there will be increased demand for retailers of all sizes to offer a broader range of payment options.
