Coventry’s impressive Ricoh Arena played host to over 300 retailers, suppliers and other recognisable figures from across the Home, Garden & DIY industries following a busy first day at the 2014 Totally Tools Show.
There was much anticipation in the audience as Comedy Compare Ian Moore took to the stage to announce the nominees and winners of the sought after Silver & Gold Awards.
There were Silver Awards for Stax Birmingham customers Morris Mica in the Hardware Retailer of the Year section whilst Dave Meadows of Right Price DIY won silver in the Store Manager of the Year category. Tool Shop also walked away with a Silver award following their nomination for Tool Retailer of the Year.
Gold success was announced for Stax Bristol customer Cotham Hardware who took the title of Hardware Retailer of the Year for 2014 and regular visitor to the Manchester branch, Ruthin Hardware, who fought off stiff competition to win the Decor Retailer of the Year Award.
Stax Joint Managing Director David Hibbert commented, “These nominations and awards are fully deserved. We are privileged to work with some great independent retailers and to see some of them get industry-wide recognition is testament to the professionalism and hard work that they give to their businesses.”
