Having supported the Rainy Day Trust for more than 30 years, Stax's latest commitment marks an important evolution in the partnership, bringing direct wellbeing support and practical assistance to every employee across the business.

The Platinum status recognises Stax as a lead national partner, providing enhanced visibility for both organisations while delivering a comprehensive package of workforce wellbeing initiatives, ambassador training and crisis support.

The partnership includes access to the Habits for Health wellbeing app for all employees, dedicated awareness and engagement days, bespoke wellbeing programmes tailored to the Stax workforce, and support towards achieving the industry's Habits for Health Wellbeing Accreditation. Every employee will also have access to confidential crisis grant support should they face unexpected hardship or personal challenges.

The first stage of the programme begins with colleagues from Birmingham and Bristol taking part in Employee Ambassador Training in Oldbury. Additional sessions will follow for Leeds and Manchester on 19 August, before Glasgow colleagues undertake their training on 20 August.

The CPD-accredited training equips employees to become in-house wellbeing champions, helping to create a sustainable support network across branches and departments.

Simon Wright, Joint Managing Director at Stax Trade Centres, said:

"The Rainy Day Trust has been a cause close to Stax for many years, and we're incredibly proud to become the first organisation to commit to its Platinum Partnership programme.

"For more than three decades we've supported the charity's work across our industry, but this partnership takes things to another level by providing meaningful, practical support directly to our own people.

"Our colleagues are at the heart of everything we do, and investing in their wellbeing, development and resilience is one of the most important commitments we can make as a business. We're excited to work alongside the Rainy Day Trust to create lasting benefits for our teams both now and in the future."

Anna Skeats, CEO of the Rainy Day Trust, added:

"Stax has been an outstanding supporter of the Rainy Day Trust for many years, and we're delighted that they have become our first Platinum Charity Partner.

"Their commitment demonstrates real leadership within the home improvement sector and a genuine belief that workforce wellbeing is both the right thing to do and a critical part of building successful businesses. We look forward to working closely together in the years ahead."

Founded in 1843, the Rainy Day Trust provides support to people working across the home improvement and enhancement industries, offering practical assistance during times of hardship while increasingly focusing on prevention, early intervention and long-term wellbeing support.
