Stax Trade Centres have been recognised as a benefactor to the Rainy Day Trust charity. The charity which exists solely to help people who have worked in the UK’s home improvement and enhancement industry, who may have fallen on hard times is Stax Trade Centres chosen charity partner with Stax joint MD sitting on the board of trustees.
Stax has worked alongside the Rainy Day Trust for a number of years and hosts an annual go karting challenge every June in which suppliers from leading DIY brands are invited to compete on a fun packed day with all proceeds donated to the charity.
David Hibbert comments, “Stax enjoy a really close relationship with the Rainy Day Trust and we regularly run incentives in branch and at our annual Gala Dinner to support the valuable work they do, helping those from our industry who have to experience unfortunate circumstances.”
