After a dramatic first season in our Stax Predictor game, it was player John Mellor who won the top prize, a brand new Transit van!

Our free to play online game launched at the beginning of last season and challenged players to predict the outcomes of Scottish Premier League matches. In exchange, players had the chance to win great prizes throughout the season resulting in thousands of game plays from Stax customers.

The last few weeks were a real rollercoaster as three different players battled it out for the top spot, Mr Mellor eventually clinched the title and the new van when the season ended.

In addition to the van, players had the chance to play for other prizes, including £5,000 in cash for a perfect score (5 out 5 predictions). There were also a variety of weekly prizes up for grabs from top brands, including Stanley, DeWalt, Karcher, Vitrex and many more.

Stax Trade Centre’s Joint Managing Director, David Hibbert commented:

“Congratulations to John who won the top prize for his uncanny ability to predict goals, cards and set plays. This was the first season we’ve done anything like this and we’ve learned a lot, next season should be even more exciting!”
