Stax achieves mark of confidence with ISO 9001 certification

In Spring 2017, we celebrated achieving the coveted Quality Management System (QMS) standard, ISO 90

In Spring 2017, we celebrated achieving the coveted Quality Management System (QMS) standard, ISO 9001:2015.

The ISO 9001 certification is awarded to organisations that have proven, without doubt, their quality credentials throughout the entirety of the business. It’s an internationally recognised certification that proves Stax’s commitment to providing and adhering to world class training, standards and operations processes.

Many organisations, both public and private, require their approved suppliers and partners to have successfully achieved ISO 9001 as a prerequisite for tender situations. This is one of many reasons that it’s the world's most popular and in demand ISO standard.

The certification is applicable to any business, regardless of industry, size or location. Having been implemented by 1.6 million organisations across 178 countries, it’s safe to say that it is become increasingly important to the way that businesses work here in the UK and abroad.

Stax Joint Managing Director David Hibbert was thrilled with the achievement, he commented:

“We’ve been dedicated to improving our internal quality management systems for some time now, so to have the ISO to prove that is brilliant. It’s just the beginning for us too, there’s no such thing as a finished job when it comes to quality and we will continue to improve and refine as we always have.”

“At Stax, we have always aimed to provide quality products and services to our customers who deserve nothing less, so it’s great to have ISO 9001 as proof of that!”

Stax’s dedication to quality and improvement was the main motivation behind pursuing ISO 9001 certification. However, the achievement could open more doors and allow them to supply other certified organisations that require the standard. Local councils, for example, require each link of their supply chain to obtain ISO 9001 beforehand.
