We have recently heard of a “mad” fundraiser – Aaron Frogley of VADO (the taps, showers & accessories manufacturer) – who along with a team of three people are starring in their own “Whacky Races” programme.

Basically each team has to buy a car for £300 or less and drive to Monte Carlo in three days, whilst completing challenges and raising cash for their favourite charity – the Rainy Day Trust!

It is the ultimate European banger rally adventure with 150 cars and 500 people participating last year.

Teams are encouraged to dress their car – as well as themselves.  We’re not sure what colour scheme Aaron and his team will opt for, but hopefully we’ll publish a few photographs after the event and let you know how they got on.

If you would like to support Aaron and his team – and the Rainy Day Trust – please check out his fundraising page – http://www.justgiving.com/mcobr. Companies can also sponsor their logo on the car for £100!  All support greatly appreciated.

For more information please contact Diane Stevens at the Rainy Day Trust – diane@rainydaytrust.org.uk – telephone 0121 237 1130.
