This week the BBC confirmed that DIY SOS: The Big Build, will be filming in Cheltenham in August. DIY SOS will visit a deserving
family home for the revamp between August 4th and August 13th.
The news comes after it emerged that Nick Knowles was apparently approached for the Top Gear job. Jeremy Clarkson was sacked by the BBC following his bad tempered punch up with a seriesproducer over a sandwich. Chris Evans has since been confirmed as the new host. The TFI Friday veteran will definitely provide fun, banter and shocks on the BBC’s flagship programme.
Already the BBC have been swamped by an army of generous and kind-hearted tradesmen in the local area offering help, skills, time and services.
