Technology has come a long way over the years. These days there are tons of apps designed to help make life easier for tradespeople. As the saying goes, don’t work harder, work smarter.
Available on iOS and Android phones, the SmartTrade app is a great way to start accepting card payments without needing to invest in expensive hardware. SmartTrade offers military-grade encryption to take secure card payments using your phone’s camera to scan. It also features customisable invoicing and accounting features.
Cut down on paperwork using this powerful estimating and scheduling app that allows you to create quotes, invoices, estimates and job sheets easily whilst on the move. Documents can then be sent via email or text message directly from the app. Available on iOS and Android smartphones.
The Makita Tool App is a bit of a swiss army knife for tradespeople. Featuring a built-in spirit level, levelling instrument, sound level, battery level indicator, flashlight and distance measurer! There are also loads of upgrades and add-ons available via the Makita website. Very useful in a pinch when you don’t have your tools to hand! Available on iOS and Android smartphones.
There are loads of other great apps out there for tradespeople, these are just 3 we feel are the most useful!
