Stax Leeds hosted their first ever Johnstone’s Day in collaboration with PPG at the Leeds branch on Monday the 1st of December.
The day gave Leeds customers the opportunity to meet reps from the leading paint supplier, find out about up coming launches and benefit from increased discounts on a number of key selling lines including 2.5L coloured emulsion, 1.25L Pure Brilliant White as well as 10L Contract Matt/Silk in white and Magnolia.
The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy was also at the store between 9am and 5pm with many customers pausing for a photo whilst other highlights of the day included a large number of free giveaways courtesy of the Johnstone’s representatives and a special menu in the café.
Stax Leeds Branch Manager Steve Holmes commented, “We have a great relationship with PPG and this is the first time, outside of The Big Brand Show and Big Activity Week’s, that we have invited their representatives in to the store to speak directly to our customers. It is a format that we have found to work really well as it allows Stax customers to become more informed on the Johnstone’s range and was supported fully by PPG who brought along some great one day only deals.”
The day was also promoted to Stax Leeds customers as Holmes continues, “We produced posters, extra point of sale material and distributed a flyer with the December promotion as well as an e-shot to our database to get the message out and this coupled with the great deals on offer ensured that the day was a success and something we would definitely look to replicate in the future.”
