Stax Trade Centres has given away a total prize fund of more than £25,000 to lucky customers who shopped at their Stax branches, or via delivered wholesaler – Wishart – over a 5 week period in October and November.

With over 41,000 Shop & Win entries in total, thousands of customers from all over the UK had the chance of winning one of 13 top prizes, including an £18,000 Vauxhall Vivaro van, Apple iPad 2, LG 3D TV, Fairmont 7 piece kitchen and much more!

The 13 lucky winners were revealed on the Stax website via a dramatic Shop & Win box-by-box reveal page, then subsequently contacted by their local Branch Manager with details of how to collect their prize.

Stax Birmingham customer, Ian Jeffries of Jeffries Hardware won the star prize – a Vauxhall Vivaro van worth over £18,000 fully loaded with Unibond stock courtesy of Stax and Unibond.

Ian Jeffries commented,

“We couldn’t believe it when we discovered we had won the star prize! It was just total disbelief! Words cannot explain how thrilled both my staff and I are to have won, not just a van full of Unibond Stock, but an actual van! The timing could not have been better, with our current van well overdue to be changed. Winning the new van answered all our problems and the benefit of free stock goes without saying!

Ian Jeffries continued, 

“We have been a Stax Trade Centres customer for over twenty years, using them as our main supplier. The staff are fantastic, the stock choice and availability is great, and the pricing is second to none. Frankly speaking I would not like to consider where my business would be if it were not for Stax Trade Centres!”

Winning some of the other major prizes was both lucky Stax Bristol customer, Mike Grimshaw of Indoor Outdoor, who was the recipient of a brand new Apple ipad 2, and Brian Warren of Broad Street DIY who won the LG TV.

We introduced the promotion as part of our 30^th Birthday Celebration to give something back to our customers, and with the backing of our suppliers we amassed a fantastic prize fund. As a consolation to customers who didn’t win a prize, Stax gave away thousands of hot drinks vouchers to redeem in one of the cafeterias as a token gesture of appreciation.
