We pride ourselves on the top service and great choice of products we provide our customers with, but what we do wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of our internal team across all branches.

A number of employees recently celebrated some very special work anniversaries and we were delighted to give them long service awards in recognition of their loyalty and commitment throughout the years.

Section Senior Jason Rogers celebrated 10 years with Stax and has worked on the DIY, gardening and electrical side of the business.

Simon Mellor has been with us for 20 years as part of the tools, timber & building and housewares teams, whilst Caroline Worral was also recognised for her 25 years of service working in goods in.

Karen Knight and Mark Duff both chalked up a whopping 30 years each as part of the team. Karen, who worked on reception in her early days, is now the Purchasing Manager at our Manchester branch.

Mark started his time with Stax as a Section Assistant and has worked across the business in a variety of positions including Goods In Manager, Purchasing Manager, Deputy Manager and finally Branch Manager at Manchester, a role he has been in for the past 13 years.
