Stax Scottish branch, located on Claire Street, Edinburgh is to extend its opening hours and will stay open until 8pm Thursday evenings in a change that will take effect from 12th September 2013.
The move has been welcomed by the branch customers as both independent retailers and tradesmen have fed back the desire for a evening close over recent months.
Branch Manager Steven Brady comments, “We have become aware following customer feedback that there is a justifiable level of demand for us to stay open one evening during the week. The reasons for this are that many of our independent retailer customers are running their shops throughout business hours and there have been a number of requests for us to stay open one evening so they can visit and have a good look around. The same applies to our trade customers as many make flying visits whilst on a job and would like the opportunity to spend longer in the warehouse and browse our range f over 30,000 top branded tools, hardware, electrical and plumbing products.”
Customers who would like more information on the change are encouraged to contact the branch reception on 0131 474 4310.
