Stax are delighted that Gus Guthrie, who was previously employed by Wishart, is returning to the Group as the new Branch Manager of Stax Edinburgh following Steven Brady’s promotion to the Branch Manager of the new Glasgow branch.
Gus spent 24 years in the army before joining Decco as an Assistant Branch Manager where he worked for 8 years, before leaving to join Wishart as a Sales Representative looking after key accounts in the central area of Scotland. After leaving Wishart Gus joined Bahco, a Stax and Wishart supplier, as the National Account Manager for Scotland and has spent the last 2 1/2 years looking after the Wishart account which was one of his key accounts in Scotland.
Gus who lives in West Lothian commented:
“I am looking forward to joining Stax again, I already know a lot of the staff as well as many of the customers and am keen to further develop the already successful Edinburgh branch. The Big Brands show in the new Glasgow branch will give me the opportunity to meet up with many old friends’’.
