Following last year’s unique event held right in the middle of its Manchester branch, Stax is not only repeating the trade show in Manchester but also taking it north of the border to Edinburgh to support the newest Stax branch and its Wishart delivered operation.

What’s more, over 100 suppliers will be supporting the shows, making them the biggest that Stax has everorganised.

Over 50 top brands have already signed up for the Manchester show on 25th and 26th September, with more to follow. The Manchester show is unique in that, in addition to a central display area of 30 display stands, the whole of the Manchester warehouse forms the exhibition space. Over 100 suppliers will be supporting ‘bus stop’ stands sited within the bays where their full range of products are on display.

The Edinburgh Big Brands Show is also a unique show being the first DIY exhibition to be held at Our Dynamic Earth, a new and unique visitor attraction in Edinburgh that tells the story of Planet Earth’s evolution and contains a great contemporary conference facility. The show is a one-day event taking place on Tuesday 30th October.

Stax Joint Managing Director, David Hibbert, commented

We have already had confirmation from some of the biggest brands in the industry and I know that all visitors will find the show a worthwhile experience.

Big DIY brands exhibiting include Dulux, Cuprinol, Johnstone’s, Solvite, Unibond, Rustins and Plastikote; big gardening brands include Scotts, Miracle-Gro, Bayer, Fiskars, Apollo and Big Cheese, and other big

brands include Oracstar, Dencon, Securit, ERA, Draper, and Polypipe.”

Both shows are open to retail customers from all five Stax depots as well as to customers of delivered wholesaler Wishart. Visitors will be able to find out about new lines, take advantage of special show offers and talk to representatives from the key product groups about new trends and opportunities for them within their market.
