How much will I get paid?

How do I get paid?

Salaries are paid monthly directly into your bank by direct debit.

Do I get a pension?

Yes Stax is already operating the new government auto enrolment pension scheme.

Do I get paid for sick days?

Stax pays statutory sick pay where applicable.

Do I get staff discount?

Our prices are already low wholesale prices, but as a Stax employee you'll receive an extra 25% discount off shelf prices.

What hours will I work?

Stax operates a variety of shift patterns with full time staff roles being 39 hours per week.

Is overtime paid?

For all staff who are paid by the hour, overtime is paid at time and a half.

How many holidays do I get?

Annual holiday entitlement including Bank Holidays is 29 per year. Holiday entitlement increases with length of service up to a maximum of 34 days.

Will I be expected to send a CV in with my job application?

Although a CV is not required for all roles, uploading a recent CV with your application is always helpful to the staff member recruiting during the application process.

Will I need to prepare for an interview in any way?

If your job application leads to the interview stage, we'll give you any specific details you may require prior to the interview.

Will there be any opportunities for progression at Stax?

Do you have a staff cafeteria?

The Manchester, Leeds & Birmingham Stax Branches have a cafeteria that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as drinks and snacks throughout the day. The cafeteria is used by staff and customers but Stax subsidises the cost for staff who buy at reduced rates.
