The Rainy Day Trust is the only charity which exists solely to help people who have worked in the UK’s home improvement and enhancement industry, which includes businesses such as; DIY Shops, Hardware Stores, Builders Merchants, Garden Centres, Cookshops, and all the manufacturers, distributors and retailers in the UK who supply them.

How Stax Helps Support the Rainy Day Trust

Stax Trade Centres’ staff work hard to raise funds for the Rainy Day Trust all year round through raffles and other events.

Stax Joint Managing Director, David Hibbert, a past president of the Rainy Day Trust, personally organises the annual Rainy Day Trust Karting Challenge, plus each branch has collection boxes throughout the stores where generous Stax customers collectively donate thousands annually. Stax also hold a number of additional fundraisers throughout the year at events including the Big Brands Trade Shows.

Thank you from the Rainy Day Trust

"The Rainy Day Trust would like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Stax Trade Centres for their continued outstanding support. Through a variety of events, fundraisers and collection boxes, Stax has raised tens of thousands of pounds for our charity and helped raise awareness about the people in need within our industry. Thank you for helping the Rainy Day Trust give back to the people in our industry who have truly earned and deserve our support in their time of need.”
