The historic Anchor Inn beside the famous Tintern Abbey, deep in the Forest of Dean, has just undergone a major refurbishment. With parts of the structure being recorded back to the 13th century there is plenty of history within the walls of the impressive building.
Part of the restoration required installing a complete new floor and the joint owner, Geoff Dawe, selected a black tumbled sandstone. Having laid over 200m2 of flooring there was a need for a good protector, and following advice from the local Stax Trade Centre in Bristol a SupaDec Sealer was selected.
The SupaDec Sealer was easily applied by a back-pack pump spray and the result was a protected floor without any change to the colour or appearance. Plus, within an hour of application the area was back in use, and with no solvent odours. In addition the SupaDec Sealers have been proven to out-perform solvent based sealers in every way.
SupaDec Sealers are advanced water-based products suitable for all manner of porous surfaces. The SupaDec Sealer range allows the ideal product to be selected for roofs, patios, driveways, internal floors, wet-rooms, external walls, fireplaces, landscaping and chimneys. Anywhere where there is a need to protect against a combination of rain, soiling and pollution. Being non-toxic and containing no-solvents SupaDec Sealers are the ideal choice to finish or refurbish a wide range of surfaces.
