The 2008 gardening season has already kicked off at Stax with staff at all four branches busy stocking the shelves of the seasonal aisles with the 2008 range of garden chemicals, composts, furniture, barbecues, camping and caravanning accessories.
To help customers plan for the season, Stax has produced a bumper 28 page brochure packed with great deals on the key gardening lines from all the top suppliers.
Purchasing Director, Simon Wright said,
“With the unpredictability of the British weather we know it is difficult for retailers to predict sales of seasonal lines in advance so it’s even more important that they can rely on their wholesaler to maintain prices throughout the season. For this reason our 2008 gardening catalogue contains over 550 key lines with prices held for the next 6 months.”
The 2008 catalogue contains a number of new products including the SupaHome pest control range, additional SupaGarden hoses and garden storage lines and new garden furniture and barbecue products. Wright continued,
“With outdoor living continuing to grow in popularity it is important that our furniture ranges reflect this and customers can select from a wide choice of styles and designs at price points to suit every budget.
Wright is confident that the expanded and improved SupaGarden ranges of tools, composts, gloves and hoses will continue to increase in popularity and said,
“Already we are seeing very positive sales on these lines and I am confident that this year, as more and more retailers benefit from increased sales and healthy margins, we will see record sales for the range. With all SupaGarden tools and sprayers now having a two year guarantee and the new hoses carrying a ten year guarantee retailers can be confident that they are stocking a quality brand”.
