Housewares / DIY Section Manager
Full Time
Stax is the fastest growing non food cash and carry wholesaler in the country and we are looking for two enthusiastic, hard working, self motivated individuals, ideally with management and sales experience to run the busy DIY and Housewares sections at our Brentry trade centre. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with proven experience in the Housewares or DIY sector looking for a fresh challenge. Responsible for achieving sales budgets, managing your team and ensuring high standards of merchandising you will also be part of the branch management team.

Senior Section Assistant
Full Time
As part of a busy team you will be responsible for ensuring good stock availability, maintaining high standards of presentation and providing excellent customer service. If you are hardworking, enthusiastic, able to work on your own initiative with the drive, commitment and desire to succeed, this position is an ideal stepping stone to joining the management team
Hourly rate for the above position is £7.50
Plus 29 days holiday entitlement including bank holidays
Plus £1200 Christmas bonus based on attendance
Plus £270 if you hold a Fork Lift License.
Plus £270 if you hold a First Aid Certificate.
Section Assistant
Full Time
You must have the ability to work on your own initiative and to become part of the best team in the business. For those with drive and determination there are promotional prospects as our policy is to promote from within to all senior levels. Your main duties will be to keep our shelves full to the brim, maintain high standards of presentation as well as providing excellent customer service.
Checkout Operators
Full Time
You will move from your till to the shop floor and back again and because its non-stop the day flies by. Previous experience, although desirable, is not essential.
Main Duties
• Operating a till using the latest EPOS scanners
• Assisting in shop floor merchandising
• Providing excellent customer service
Hourly rate for the above two positions is £6.50
Plus 29 days holiday entitlement including bank holidays
Plus £1200 Christmas bonus based on attendance.
Plus £270 if you hold a Fork Lift License.
Plus £270 if you hold a First Aid Certificate.
Full Time positions are 39 hours per week,
over a two week shift;
Mon – Thurs 1pm– 9pm
Sun – Fri 8am-4.30pm
with one Saturday in six 8am– 12noon.
