Only 5 star facilities at Stax cafeterias

Bristol, Leeds and Manchester cafeterias have all received the prestigious five-star Food Hygiene Awards following recent visits from their respective City Council’s Environmental Health Officer. Stax Birmingham’s cafeteria is still to be evaluated but with such high standards being held throughout all the branches, they will be hoping to achieve the same accolade.

The awards are given in recognition of the cafeterias compliance with food hygiene requirements, compliance with structural requirements, compliance with food safety controls and confidence in management - but the five-star award is the highest accolade and is rarely awarded unless the strictest of measures are taken!
Bristol Canteen Supervisor Pat Butcher was delighted with the award saying, “The team pride ourselves on the standards of the cafeteria and for the council to award us five stars is great”.
